Friday Night Concert Series for April every Friday at 7:00 PM! The concert is FREE and is open to all ages. Bring your lawn chair, blanket and your family for a night of great music and fun! Forgotten Coast Paddle Jam 2017 is a three-day festival being held on May 5-7 in Franklin County, Florida. The Forgotten Coast is unique and diverse ecosystem of water systems, forests, wetlands, coastal environments and human communities.
Kicking off the 2017 Chattahoochee River Whitewater Season with RiverFest Weekend May 5th and 6th. Everyone is invited to take part in events at Woodruff Park, along the RiverWalk, Phenix City and in Uptown Columbus. Paddlers of all ages and skill levels will take to the water at the Annual Back to the Chattahoochee River Race and Festival. Organized and presented by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) in partnership with the National Park Service and the City of Roswell, the event celebrates the Chattahoochee and fosters a sense of community around the river.
The Festival is at Riverside Park and the boat races are at Garrard Landing.
It's time again for the 2017 Hatchet Creek Festival- May 20-21, 2017. Two day float down beautiful Hatchet Creek in Coosa County. Registration fee include camping gear, shuttled to the campsite, driver's shuttle from the take out location, supper and breakfast at the campsite and participant T-shirt. The Union Volunteer Fire and Rescue 9UVF&R) will host its 35th Annual Spring Festival on May 20th 2017. The Festival will feature a wide variety of arts and craft booths and household items for sale. The Festival will also present live local musicians, BBQ plates for sale, children's games and other activities designed for the entire family. The keynote event is a cash raffle that historically has awarded thousands in cash prizes. For individuals interested in renting a booth cost is only $10 for a 10x10 space. This festival is one of the largest hot air balloon gatherings in the Southeast, featuring more than 60 balloons with races, key grab, tether rides and a balloon glow. There will be arts and crafts, food vendors, an antique car and tractor show, musical entertainment and children's activities.
Art on the Lake, scheduled for Memorial Day weekend 2017, provides an opportunity for artists from all over the Southeast to showcase their art. Original work, including canvas, jewelry, pottery and sculpture are available for purchase with a portion of the sale benefitting Children’s Harbor.

Bugs on the Hooch a family fun event happening Memorial Day Weekend. Come to camp Friday night, Come Saturday for entertainment, games, and family fun. Camp out Saturday night and the Main event is Sunday May 28th at Woodruff Park.
Boats decorated with flags with an Independence Day theme parade from Kowaliga Marina to Childrens Harbor. Judging takes place and awards are given for the most decorated boats in different categories.
The clock is set back one hour at 2:00 AM (First Sunday in November). Remember to winterize your boat(s) If you will not be using them in the winter months. Remember to change smoke detector batteries.
